Our Story

Every PinkSalt piece begins hundreds of metres inside a Himalayan mountain — in crystal salt beds laid down by an ancient sea 250 million years ago. Miners still work the old room-and-pillar way: carving chambers by hand and leaving salt columns to support the mountain, so each block comes out intact. Artisans then cut, carve, and polish every lamp by hand — which is why no two pieces are ever the same.
